I have had this coffee carafe maker for over a year now with absolutely no problems. This coffee makers electric makes great coffee that stays hot in the carafe all day, no more scorched coffee for me. You fire up a batch early morning and drink it all day. This zojirushi coffee uses #4 filters, all you have to do is scrunch them in good and tight, no big deal. If you are anxious for your first cup you can take out the carafe mid-brew and it doesn’t leak. Just remember to line up the two dots on the screw-on carafe lid and coffee pours out like crazy, if they are not lined up it just kind of piddles out.
